Overview of background and results. To investigate the effect of vagotomy on the progression of gastric cancer, a retrospective study was conducted comparing the prognosis of PGJ and PGJV. The study results showed that when vagotomy is performed together with PGJ for locally unresectable gastric cancer, the overall survival can be significantly extended.
