Comparison of the incidence of postoperative complications between the PG-DTR group and the TG group. PG proximal gastrectomy, DTR double tract reconstruction, TG total gastrectomy, GR gastroesophageal reflux. Incision infection, pulmonary infection, abdominal infection, anastomotic fistula or stenosis, and intestinal obstruction were the most commonly observed short-term complications observed at the 3-month postoperative follow-up. GR, anemia, and hypoproteinemia were considered to be long-term complications and indicated nutritional status at the 1-year postoperative follow-up
