Transanal total mesorectal excision (TaTME) procedure. We usually mobilize the distal rectum at least above the anorectal ring in order to set up the EZ ACCESS platform at the anal canal. We try to dissect until the peritoneal reflection at the anterior side of the rectum is identified, because we often experience difficulty to dissect the anterior side of the rectum through the EZ ACCESS platform
