Apoptosis in subcutaneous tumors. In the tumors treated with sCLU shRNA, significant TUNEL-positive cells were found. However, only a few apoptotic cells were found in the tumors treated with the control shRNA and the saline. The apoptotic index of sCLU shRNA was much higher than that of the control groups.
