Parenchymal resection. Usually starting from the left side, the liver parenchyma is resected just below the Arantius ligament, separating the liver parenchyma from the inferior surface of the middle and left hepatic veins. At the bottom, lifting the right hepatic pedicle by using tapes, cut the caudate process and separate it from the right liver parenchyma.
