  1. Serum values of amylase, lipase, AST, ALT, gGT, AP, bilirubin, CRP, and WBC were elevated at the patient’s initial presentation, pointing to biliary pancreatitis. After ERCP and pancreatic duct stenting on day 2, the enzymes initially elevated but then decreased rapidly towards normal values
