Overexpression or recombinant Klotho administration suppresses the proliferation of liver cancer cells. a The liver cancer cells (2 × 104 cells/per well) were plated into 48-well plate. After 8 h, the cells were transfected with p CMV6-Klotho and control vector for 24, 48, 72, and 96 h. The cells transfected by p CMV6 vector were used as the controls.
