Figure 3From: Four year experience of sarcoma of soft tissues and bones in a tertiary care hospital and review of literatureDistribution of Osteosarcoma Patients who Received Neo-adjuvant Chemotherapy. 16 patients with osteosarcoma received neoadjuvant chemotherapy. This included 4 patients with metastatic disease and 12 patients with localised disease. 11 of these 12 patients underwent limb salvage surgery but one ended up having amputation. 3 patients were lost to follow after limb salvage surgery while 4 relapsed and 4 did not relapse as per last follow up. The flow chart also shows the postoperative pathological characteristics of the relapse and no relapse patients.Back to article page
