An MRI scan revealed that there was a mass in the left false vocal cord that also involved the left vocal cord. b) TheT1-weighted signals and c) the T2-weighted signals were hyperintense, d) and the contrast-enhanced T1-weighted MRI images show strong enhancement. e) DWI suggested hyperintense lesions were in the left false vocal cord (b = 1000s/mm2). f) The corresponding ADC map reveals a hypointense mass of lesions in the left false vocal cord (ADC = 0.793 × 10-3 mm2/s).
