Expressions of c-kit (membranous/cytoplasmic), EGFR (membranous), and VEGF (cytoplasmic) were scored as follows: 0, reactivity in <5% of tumor cells; 1+, reactivity in 5% -1/3 of tumor cells; 2+, reactivity in 1/3 to 2/3 of tumor cells; 3+, reactivity >2/3 of tumor cells.
