Clinical tool reliable in bedside early recognizing pancreas tumour, both benign and malignant.

I consider this paper (1)really interesting and fascinating, for the following reasons. Firstly, the young patient presented with "one" day of abdominal pain. However,I'dd like to know when its pancreas cancer really originated, bringing about surely some disconfort, although well tollerated by the patient and consequently undiagnosed! Clearly, the diagnosis was made by means of sophysticated semeiotics, i.e., abdominal ultrasound investigation. On the contrary, doctor skilled in Biophysical Semeiotics (See http://www.semeioticabiofisica.it and linked website Microangiologia) has could recognize clinically such as pancreas abnormalities from a very long time (2, 3). Secondly, the Authors write rightly : "It is important to differentiate this tumour from other pancreatic tumours because, unlike malignant pancreatic tumours, this neoplasm does not usually metastasise and is amenable to cure after complete surgical resection". In my opinion, this tumour could involve, as "benign" in nature, all individuals, even those without Oncological Terrain (2, 4), presenting, however, typical biophysical-semeiotic sign, useful in diagnosis.
Finally, the article is to be read with great attention, because it describes a diosrder surely more frequent than generally admitted today.
