Peritoneal Cancer Index (PCI). PCI was used to measure the implant size and the distribution of the tumor in the abdomen. For the purpose of this study the abdomen was divided into: (A) upper abdominal regions (1 to 3), (B) middle abdominal regions (0, 4, 8 to12), and (C) lower abdominal regions 5 to 7.
